and inspire by providing housing, employment, and
leadership training to Returning Citizens and their families
The Khnemu Transitional Leadership Homes were created to provide safe and stable housing to men and women returning from incarceration, as well as juveniles aging out of detention centers who demonstrate transformation. Our homes include leadership training and community service for all occupants for the purpose of developing community leaders that will serve the community.
Khnemu Foundation's Get Ohio Working program aims at improving the quality of life for all residents across Ohio, with a particular focus on returning citizens by empowering them with work opportunities through partnerships with various 2nd Chance Employers and agencies who give back and understand the benefits of hiring Returning Citizens. In essence, we find work for those having difficulty finding work, both felon and non-felon.
The nationally recognized and award winning Creating Lasting Family Connections Curriculum Series is announcing a new curriculum addressing stress and trauma. The NEW CLFC: Overcoming and Understanding Stress and Trauma Program (CLFC: OUST) is designed for general audiences, including late junior high and high school aged students, and both young and middle-aged adults in a variety of educational, health, mental health, judicial or work settings.

FIINation Radio is a series of podcasts aimed at educating the community and empowering Returning Citizens in Cleveland's 17 Wards with content that's entertaining, political, educational, resourceful and informative that will increase residents participation in democracy. We will engage our listeners to reimagine what collective cooperation they would like to see in the world.
Khnemu Foundation's Cleveland Community Cleanup & Conversations is a Cleveland-wide landscaping initiative that provides debris pickup and lawn-cutting services to residents of selected streets weekly in every Ward and engage the residents in conversation about civics, voting and the condition of their neighborhoods. Every week, the group landscapes an entire block of homes in an effort to beautify Cleveland and restore community engagement between neighbors and residents.
The Khnemu Foundation's community-centric culture powers everything we do. From resources to services, our goal is to maintain a connection with the community in a way that has a lasting impact for generations to come.The future of our community lies in the hands of our youth and we want to educate them on how ACES can impact how you look at the world and how you show up and participate in it. The Khnemu Foundation offers programs and resources that are tailored to the younger generation in order to equip them with the skills necessary to ensure a bright future.
