Khnemu's Cleveland Community Cleanup & Conversation came about in 2023 in an effort to take accountability for our neighborhoods and beautify them for our community members and begin taking back our communities through restoration and engagement.
Our team of volunteers come together once a week to clean one block at a time through Cleveland's 17 Wards.
The conversations are to bring awareness to the community about important issues that affect us all as Cleveland's, and hear what the community has to say about their problems and what we can do to solve them
This Community Cleanup on Kempton & 105th was our kickoff cleanup, that set the stage for the weeks to come
After the Cleanup, we engage the community in conversation about the neighborhood, the city, and what we can do better to improve it
Here is where engagement with the community begins
Check out this great video of how the Community Cleanup began in 2008
Each week we manicure a particular street in each Ward and hold a community conversation with the residents to seek solutions to the problems that plague our Cleveland communities
